The New Microdrone

We use a state of the art Microdrone, which is a quad copter UAV. It is very similar to those used by the police & Fire Service.

The Microdrone provides a stable camera platform that is easily manouvered between locations.

We are the first UK company to offer a nationwide service with this technology. It is powered by rechargeable battery packs so is environmentally friendly and very quiet, virtually un-heard at less than 20m. This means that we can fly in most areas with no noise to disturb neighbors and we can stay airborne at a suitable height until we get the exact picture that is needed, unlike aircraft that are very limited by time and height restrictions.

The Microdrone images show the properties in their setting not just the roof as most aircraft shots do. The Microdrone can be also used in area’s where vehicle access is limited such as archaeological sensitive sites at heights up 120m. The live image is viewed on a ground base station and/or video glasses before recording to ensure the correct picture is obtained. The Microdrone can be positioned by GPS and has a built in altimeter
